Job Description
Outside Sales Representative at Eco Battery driving new business in lithium battery solutions for golf cart, marine, and RV industries while building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target new business opportunities within the golf cart, marine, and RV markets.
- Travel regularly to meet with dealers, OEMs, distributors, and key accounts to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Educate customers on lithium battery solutions, including performance benefits, weight savings, lifespan, and off-grid capabilities.
- Identify customer needs and recommend customized solutions for applications such as golf carts, boats (trolling motors, house power), and RV power systems.
- Manage and maintain a sales pipeline using CRM software, tracking progress toward sales goals.
- Represent the company at trade shows, dealer events, and industry exhibitions within the golf cart, marine, and RV spaces.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotions, product launches, and regional campaigns.
- Work closely with operations and technical support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, including electrification, lithium battery adoption, and evolving customer needs across all three markets.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in a B2B or dealer/distribution environment.
- Experience in golf cart, marine, RV, or related mobile power industries strongly preferred.
- Understanding of 12V/24V/48V systems and lithium battery applications is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently in a field-based role.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience attending trade shows and industry networking events.
