Job Description
Outside Sales Representative responsible for generating leads and closing sales through direct interactions. Engaging with homeowners about roofing needs and services in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and canvass residential neighborhoods and commercial areas to identify potential customers in need of roofing repairs, replacements, or installations.
- Engage with homeowners, property managers, and business owners in a professional and persuasive manner to introduce our company's roofing solutions and services.
- Conduct thorough assessments of customers' roofing needs, including inspections and measurements, to provide accurate estimates and recommendations.
- Present and demonstrate our roofing products, materials, and warranty options to customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections effectively.
- Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, proposals, and agreements, ensuring clarity and transparency regarding pricing, scope of work, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with our roofing installation teams and project managers to coordinate the scheduling and execution of roofing projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions using CRM software or other tracking tools.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in roofing sales and customer service to enhance your effectiveness and performance.
Requirements:
- A determined Mindset to Grow and be challenged to be 1% better every day!
- Proven track record of success in door-to-door sales, preferably in the construction, home improvement, or roofing industry. (Highly Desired)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse customers.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and terminology is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and become proficient in our products and services is essential.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively, while also collaborating with team members and support staff as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
