Job Description
Pharmaceutical Territory Manager promoting Lilly dermatology and immunology products to Houston dermatologists and allergists. Driving territory sales, customer relationships, and brand strategy execution.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the sale and promotion of Lilly products within a distinct territory
- Call on dermatologists and allergists
- Deliver aligned sales performance through effective sales engagements with targeted customers
- Perform required duties in the assigned territory according to expectations
- Promote aligned products within the Immunology selling team
- Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and the PhRMA code
- Meet or exceed account/call activity and time-in-territory expectations
- Select and deploy HQ-approved educational programs and resources across target accounts and stakeholders
- Navigate payers, health systems, and business drivers to gain access and advance patient impact
- Analyze sales information and recommend actions to maximize opportunities aligned to brand strategy
- Develop understanding of the disease state, products, marketplace, and key competitors
- Create customer value, demand, and advocacy for the brand
- Build and maintain relationships with account decision makers to execute business unit/brand strategy
- Utilize marketing and selling materials for physicians, healthcare providers, and healthcare clinic personnel
- Plan and organize activities for regular and consistent territory coverage
- Participate in training and development programs while following industry and corporate policies and procedures
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree required
- 2+ years pharmaceutical sales
- Immunology experience preferred
- Documented history and proven track record of sales success
- Background in navigating complex accounts within integrated health systems
- Experience or thorough understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Must live in the territory
- Proficiency with CRM platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Complete all company- and job-related training as assigned within required timelines
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) may be required depending on the assigned territory and customer needs
- Ability to provide secure and temperature-controlled location for product samples may be required
