Responsibilities:

  • Lead, structure, and further develop both classical and agile portfolio management practices
  • Oversee portfolio‑level financials, including CAPEX/OPEX planning, forecasting, budget tracking, and benefits realization
  • Prepare and support governance routines (SteerCos, review boards) with high‑quality insights, reports, and decision‑ready materials
  • Ensure portfolio governance standards, reporting structures, and processes are embedded across delivery teams
  • Analyze current portfolio processes, identify pain points and maturity gaps, and design actionable improvement measures
  • Collaborate with PMO and business/tech stakeholders to harmonize frameworks, methods, and tooling
  • Drive prioritization, risk transparency, resource allocation overview, and portfolio reporting improvements
  • Act as a key interface to senior stakeholders, including Domain Leads and the CIO
  • Facilitate workshops, alignment discussions, and portfolio decision processes
  • Represent portfolio insights and recommendations confidently in front of senior leadership and governance boards, even without formal leadership authority
  • Support transformational PMO capability building, not just delivery execution

Requirements:

  • Strong background in portfolio management, IT governance, or transformation steering
  • Proven experience in PMO leadership, portfolio management, or transformation roles
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and decision support
  • Excellent Excel (advanced modeling, automation, pivoting) and PowerPoint (C‑level storytelling) capabilities
  • Confident communicator who interacts effectively with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams
  • Hands‑on, proactive, resilient, and able to operate independently with high accountability
  • Strong change‑management and stakeholder‑alignment abilities
  • Practical experience using AI‑supported productivity and analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, AI‑powered reporting/automation)
  • Fluent in business English and German (spoken and written)
