Job Description

Pre-Sales Engineer designing audiovisual and integrated technology solutions for RecruitGo, an Employer of Record company connecting global talent with businesses. Supporting tenders, demonstrations, quotations, and technical handovers.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical voice of the sales process
  • Work with clients, Sales, and internal stakeholders to design and deliver audio-visual and integrated technology solutions
  • Prepare technical demonstrations and proofs of concept
  • Support tenders, quotations, pricing, compliance documentation, and supporting documentation
  • Review quotations for accuracy, completeness, style, and fitness for purpose
  • Liaise with tender contacts to clarify requirements and questions
  • Collaborate with departments, subject matter experts, administrative, operations, and technical personnel to complete responses
  • Answer technical questions and translate technical information into clear content
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, rack layouts, cable schedules, and other documentation
  • Prepare documentation with Project Managers, Account Executives, and Senior Technicians for subject matter expert review
  • Develop cost estimates and quotations for design, coordination, provision, and installation services
  • Review and prequalify project bids for technical suitability and commercial viability
  • Provide project and client insights to project delivery teams during handover meetings
  • Maintain document templates and tools according to the company style guide
  • Develop Pre-Sales Engineering standards, including video conferencing room designs
  • Assist Sales and Account Managers with solutioning, proposal reviews, service solutioning, and costing/pricing models
  • Liaise with product vendors regarding technology and product updates
  • Work directly with clients to define requirements and prepare technical documentation
  • Position proposed solutions based on the competitive landscape and client needs
  • Report to the Chief Revenue Officer on business strengths and improvement areas
  • Perform other assigned tasks and projects
  • Work with the internal team to ensure timely service delivery and meet client expectations

Requirements:

  • Certifications from Crestron, Extron, QSC as standard
  • At least 3 years in a pre-sales engineering role
  • Technical competency in drawing programs such as CAD and Visio
  • Ability to prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, rack layouts, cable schedules, and related technical documentation
  • Ability to interpret system schematics and cable schedules
  • Ability to develop accurate cost estimates and quotations
  • Strong understanding of audio-visual and integrated technology solutions
  • Understanding of commercial, cost, financial, and budgetary impacts of proposed products and solutions
  • Strong understanding of product portfolios and future product developments
  • Ability to understand and define client business and technical requirements
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape and client needs
  • Ability to work 8:30 AM–5:00 PM AEST
