Job Description
Professional Learning Specialist at Curriculum Associates providing targeted professional development and support to educators. Collaborating with district and site leaders to improve classroom learning and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted professional development and ongoing in-classroom support
- Conduct data analysis and daily project management
- Communicate with district and site leaders
- Collaborate with teachers, coaches, and leaders to implement practices that impact classroom learning
- Deliver professional learning to ensure equity in the classroom
- Support district-wide adoptions of Curriculum Associates’ products
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, or providing professional development learning
- Fluency using digital tools including online assessments
- High level of comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders
- Understanding of principles of adult learning and how to apply them to professional learning
- Ability to manage, monitor, evaluate, and ensure integrity of program implementations
- Ability to provide high-quality classroom coaching to ensure teachers have the skills necessary to deliver CA solutions effectively
- Willingness to travel within designated territory as well as to company meetings several times throughout the year
- Strong working knowledge of the State Standards for Mathematics/ELA, Grades K–8
