Job Description
Program Manager for the VA Office of Suicide Prevention leading initiatives to improve mental health outcomes for Veterans. Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver measurable results in federal healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end program management activities for VA Office of Suicide Prevention sprint initiatives.
- Serve as the primary contractor point of contact for VA program stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and report against integrated program plans, performance metrics, and deliverable tracking tools.
- Assist the VA in the execution of targeted Suicide Prevention program goals.
- Monitor program scope, schedule, and budget baselines; proactively identify risks and issues.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality program documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare program management.
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA PIV credential and pass a VA background investigation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent quality-focused project management credential required at time of hire.
