Job Description
Sales Associate focused on outbound sales and pipeline building at Juniper Square. Collaborating with Account Executives to drive growth in Commercial Real Estate sector.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and Qualify Leads:
- Execute targeted outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain consistent activity levels: 300+ calls and 200+ emails per week - while focusing on quality conversations and qualified meetings.
- Drive Pipeline Growth:
- Identify and engage prospects within both assigned and unassigned territories, uncovering new opportunities across the private markets space.
- Partner with your assigned Account Executives to develop territory strategies, share insights, and align outreach efforts.
- Leverage Modern Sales Tools:
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-driven prospecting platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to build and manage a clean, organized pipeline.
- Spot Trigger Events and Buying Signals:
- Monitor industry news, funding announcements, acquisitions, leadership changes, and other trigger events to identify timely outreach opportunities.
- Use news alerts, research tools, and social signals to personalize outreach and connect with prospects when interest is highest.
- Engage in Events:
- Support and attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to identify prospects and build relationships.
- Manage pre- and post-event outreach — including invitations, follow-ups, and lead nurturing to convert interest into meetings.
- Become a Product and Industry Expert:
- Develop a deep understanding of Juniper Square’s platform and the value it delivers to real estate private equity and other private market investors.
- Confidently articulate our value proposition to senior decision-makers and tailor messaging to their unique needs.
Requirements:
- Proven Cold Calling Experience
- Demonstrated success in a prior sales or business development role that involved daily/weekly calling and emailing KPIs.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
- Experience within the CRE industry preferred
- Experience attending industry events and driving interest
- Experience with designing and executing outbound campaigns.
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly quotas.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, etc.
- Experience or strong interest in SaaS, real estate private equity, or financial services technology.
