Job Description

Sales Operations Analyst contributing to commercial success and sales strategies. Handling compensation plans, reporting, and working with cross-functional teams at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Responsibilities:

  • Influence commercial success, providing an outstanding opportunity for career growth and visibility within our commercial and sales operations organizations
  • Work closely with internal customers and current team members to implement sales strategies and achieve business goals
  • Support sales incentive compensation for North American Laboratory Products field sales teams
  • Involvement in sales compensation plan design for team members who are eligible under the Sales Incentive Plans (SIP)
  • Review monthly incentive compensation payouts, revenue adjustments and performance
  • Involvement in month-end reporting and preparation of revenue data reports for monthly review
  • Ensure accurate data quality and maintenance in the Sales Data Warehouse and Xactly Incent
  • Help coordinate the Sales Rep Product/Channel responsibility matrix, ensuring accurate implementation and documentation of changes
  • Support the Sales Territory Management process, including territory mapping and documentation
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and insights to the teams you support

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or a related business field (MBA a plus)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of increasingly responsible business experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, or Financial Analyst Role supporting cross-functional teams
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Cognos (or equivalent data warehouse tool), Xactly Incent (or equivalent compensation management tool), and PowerPoint are a strong plus
  • Ability to travel to corporate events as needed
