Job Description
Sales Representative in Gastroenterology for AbbVie, creating effective relationships in the healthcare sector and ensuring valuable information reaches experts.
Responsibilities:
- You connect science, clinical practice and people: As a Sales Representative in Gastroenterology, you build sustainable relationships with hospital contacts.
- You ensure that relevant information, services and training opportunities reach the right experts at the right time.
- You independently develop and expand your territory, deepen existing networks and implement your own clearly defined projects.
- You develop precise account plans and derive concrete stakeholder engagement activities from them.
- You initiate, design and organize target-group-appropriate training events and maintain a presence at relevant congresses.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed degree in Pharmacy, Human Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine, and/or pharmaceutical sales representative qualification
- Several years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrably above-average sales results desirable
- Experience collaborating within an in-field team and taking responsible interdisciplinary project leadership in a matrix organization
- Ability to present complex scientific topics in a way that suits the target audience and to discuss them with different customer groups
- Strong persuasion skills as well as a confident, presentation- and closing-oriented personality with excellent communication abilities
- High level of motivation and energy to pursue and achieve targets
- Excellent performance management to continuously optimise sales target attainment
- Strong digital competence and proficient use of field sales software and MS Office
- Very good German and good English skills
