Job Description

Sales Representative maintaining and growing sales across all industry segments in Southern Arizona. Collaborating with team members to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all sales activities in assigned territory
  • Develop and implement strategic plan to expand sales
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and support teams
  • Provide Avantor solutions to customers across all segments
  • Manage territory consisting of diverse customers
  • Successfully manage sales strategies to optimize revenue growth
  • Develop and deliver proposals to customers
  • Collaborate with sales management on territory planning
  • Build and sustain relationships with customers and vendors
  • Execute company defined sales and marketing strategies

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a complex, dynamic sales environment
  • Proven track record of verifiable sales success
  • B2B sales experience, preferably with distribution experience
  • Scientific background and/or experience in laboratory or research environment preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively use sales processes (e.g. SPIN, Challenger)
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce.com)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
