Job Description
Sales Representative maintaining and growing sales across all industry segments in Southern Arizona. Collaborating with team members to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all sales activities in assigned territory
- Develop and implement strategic plan to expand sales
- Collaborate with sales leadership and support teams
- Provide Avantor solutions to customers across all segments
- Manage territory consisting of diverse customers
- Successfully manage sales strategies to optimize revenue growth
- Develop and deliver proposals to customers
- Collaborate with sales management on territory planning
- Build and sustain relationships with customers and vendors
- Execute company defined sales and marketing strategies
Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a complex, dynamic sales environment
- Proven track record of verifiable sales success
- B2B sales experience, preferably with distribution experience
- Scientific background and/or experience in laboratory or research environment preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively use sales processes (e.g. SPIN, Challenger)
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce.com)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
