Job Description

Senior Account Manager managing accounting-firm relationships for Caseware's audit and financial reporting software. Driving UK and Ireland sales growth through consultative selling, client engagement, and trade events.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain account plans for all assigned clients
  • Create and maintain a diary of regular client service visits and meetings
  • Achieve annual sales targets, never lower than £250,000
  • Demonstrate features, benefits, and capabilities of product offerings
  • Assist with marketing activity, including attending events and conducting webinars
  • Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Utilize sales technologies and deepen industry knowledge
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and follow sales procedures
  • Manage hot-list tasks
  • Provide regular sales pipeline and forecast information
  • Handle sales enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Prepare sales seminars
  • Assist in preparing marketing resources for campaign activity
  • Support colleagues during absences and mentor junior team members
  • Manage relationships with important accounting firm clients, initially 30+ firms/offices
  • Balance sales opportunities with collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Work with International Strategic Account, Account Executive, and Marketing teams on engagement strategy
  • Represent Caseware and its products at trade events, build client rapport, and close sales opportunities
  • Expand revenue among the existing client base
  • Travel throughout the UK and Ireland
  • Report to Ricky Mahary, Sales Manager Practice Sector, and Shez Hamill, Senior Sales Director UK & Ireland

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in Software, SaaS, ERP, and/or Tech Sales
  • Previous sales experience and success in selling and winning new business opportunities
  • Experience building a territory and executing a territory plan
  • Consistent achievement of sales quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of forecasting revenue levels and achieving sales targets in a high-growth environment
  • Knowledge of the accounting profession is highly valued but not absolutely required
  • Valid driving licence and access to a car required
  • Willingness/ability to travel in the UK and Ireland
  • Ability to work with CRM and sales technologies
  • Ability to manage 30+ accounting firms/offices
