Job Description
Senior Marketing Automation Specialist producing responsive email and push campaigns for APPLY, an Agentic Customer Experience partner. Implementing CRM platform programs, dynamic logic, API calls, QA, and client-facing testing for global brands.
Responsibilities:
- Produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for diverse clients
- Collaborate with email developers and customer success managers to resolve email deployment issues
- Participate in email stand-ups to prioritize workload and complete tasks on time
- Work with client teams on requests, questions, and work-in-progress tasks
- Ensure emails meet client standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN-SPAM laws
- Test email messages using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid
- Develop CSS styling and implement platform-specific dynamic logic in templates
- QA and test coding in various marketing platforms with clients
- Implement programs inside marketing platforms and make mock API calls using tools such as Postman
- Handle edge cases and filter users into different flows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of email production and development experience
- Mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email
- Proficiency with JSON
- Understanding of APIs and proficiency making GET and POST calls
- Understanding of data feeds
- Understanding of email code structure and responsive coding for different devices
- Strong email etiquette and ability to communicate with testing, QC, and updates directly with clients
- Ability to take feedback, clarify it, and make adjustments as needed
- Platform experience with Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift
- Knowledge of Liquid, Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma
