Job Description
Senior Nutritional Sales Executive growing Abbott’s science-based nutrition products in Malaysia. Building hospital and GP partnerships while influencing healthcare providers and market share.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the market and category opportunities within the territory
- Maintain current knowledge of medical and nutritional science and the evolving healthcare landscape
- Develop and execute multichannel customer engagement plans to generate demand for Abbott brand products
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers throughout customer accounts
- Define and deliver a unique value proposition from the healthcare provider’s perspective
- Drive growth and market share in targeted hospitals and clinics by influencing healthcare provider behaviors
- Educate and influence customers to adopt new ways of interacting
- Influence patient choice without direct patient contact, except during ward meetings
- Develop strategic partnerships with hospital and general practitioner accounts to build long-term, sustainable business partnerships
Requirements:
- Degree in Science or equivalent
- Nutritionists and Dietitians are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of hierarchy
- Computer literacy, especially intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Adequate knowledge and/or skills to perform effectively on the job
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Pharmaceutical or nutrition sales or relevant industry sales experience is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel to outstation locations
