Job Description

Sourcing & Contracts Project Manager coordinating procurement and compliance for Vultr, enhancing operational efficiency in a fast-growing tech environment.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will serve as the critical "command center" for procurement activities, liaising with finance and accounting on a regular basis. This role is responsible for the data integrity of our sourcing pipeline, ensuring that every contract, PO, and Statement of Work (SOW) is not just completed, but executed with 100% accuracy and in compliance with the corresponding agreements & SLA’s. You will be the primary bridge between our vendors and internal Finance stakeholders, turning complex due diligence requirements into a streamlined, high-speed process.
  • End-to-End Oversight: Lead the lifecycle of the due diligence processes for all sourcing initiatives, ensuring every request is meticulously tracked, prioritized, and delivered ahead of deadlines.
  • Documentation Integrity: Analyze, collect, sanitize, and maintain all critical materials—including Data Call (DC) files, POs, SOWs, and MSAs—ensuring 100% completeness and audit-readiness.
  • Risk & Gap Analysis: Act as the first line of defense by reviewing documentation for inconsistencies, and performing rigorous gap analyses to identify and remediate latent risks. Ensure all financial reporting and strategic materials are validated for consistency and accuracy prior to escalation to senior Finance leadership. Execution & Follow-through: Drive the "last mile" of sourcing by relentlessly following up on outstanding items, ensuring no loose ends remain in the diligence phase.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting
  • Central Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison for diligence queries, coordinating seamlessly between internal procurement, legal/finance teams and external vendors.
  • Operational Visibility: Build and maintain real-time trackers and dashboards that provide stakeholders with instant clarity on workstream status and timelines.
  • Financial Validation: Support operational diligence by executing comprehensive financial validation and operational diligence to ensure all sourcing initiatives remain compliant with established budgetary constraints. Maintain high-integrity data sets to certify that projected sourcing outcomes yield realized cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 3–7+ years of experience in financial due diligence, project management, contracts, sourcing, or finance-related roles
  • Strong understanding of contract documentation (POs, SOWs, MSAs) and sourcing processes
  • Experience with compliance, audit and diligence processes.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, completeness, and follow-through
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated expertise in performing critical document audits and gap analyses to identify latent operational risks. Proven ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights that safeguard organizational integrity. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, procurement orchestration tools (Zip, LevelPath, Coupa) and document management tools

Benefits:
