Job Description
Strategic Partnerships Manager acquiring and growing fintech partnerships for R2’s embedded-finance platform. Covering market analysis, enterprise sales, executive relationships, and post-signature expansion across Netherlands and Belgium.
Responsibilities:
- Lead R2’s partner acquisition strategy across Netherlands and Belgium by identifying high-potential targets, conducting TAM analysis, and aligning internally with all internal teams before moving to close
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from first outreach to signed partnership agreement while building executive-level relationships through regular meetings, strong follow-ups, and in-person engagement across priority markets
- Represent R2 at top fintech and industry events across the region, building a strong network and identifying new partnership opportunities ahead of the market
- Act as a strategic partner to newly signed accounts by leading key touchpoints, ensuring alignment on goals, and serving as the internal advocate for execution and long-term success
- Support quarterly partnership reviews and help identify opportunities for product, segment, or geographic expansion to deepen engagement and unlock new growth with key partners
Requirements:
- 7+ years of top-performance experience in strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, business development, consulting, investment banking, or VC/PE, ideally within fintech or tech in NL Belgium
- Experience at a high-growth tech company in NL and Belgium, ideally at a fintech or payments company
- Proven ability to build and manage executive-level relationships and influence high-stakes decisions across multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of unit economics, financial modeling, and deal evaluation, with the ability to develop and present business cases
- A builder at heart, someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments and takes ownership end-to-end
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Based in NL and Belgium
