Job Description
Team Lead for Business Development at Robotiq empowering factory teams and driving performance excellence. Collaborating across roles to maintain high-quality sales-ready opportunities in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own the performance, results, and operating rhythm of the BDR team across regions and time zones
- Define and enforce lead qualification standards, routing rules, and CRM best practices
- Convert revenue and pipeline objectives into clear BDR priorities, targets, and execution plans
- Collaborate with Marketing to optimize follow-up on Robotiq-sourced demand and provide feedback on lead quality
- Monitor performance dashboards and funnel metrics to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain healthy backlog and capacity management across the BD team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Revenue Operations, including 2+ years leading, coaching, or influencing BD teams or strategies
- Proven ability to manage performance and pipeline outcomes through data
- Experience in B2B, industrial, or technical sales environments is a strong asset
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot), sales performance dashboards and and pipeline analytics
- Solid understanding of lead routing, qualification frameworks (BANT, ICP), and BDR workflows
- Experience running operating cadences (weekly reviews, performance tracking, forecasting)
- Results-driven leader able to influence and align teams without direct authority
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear, structured communication skills
- Flexible with work hours and location depending on business requirements (remote work, or different employee and customer time zones)
- Available to travel within Americas and EMEA. A valid passport and driver’s license are required.
- Language Skills : English: Full professional proficiency; French, German or Italian: Fluent proficiency to communicate comfortably internally and externally (essential for this role) Any other relevant language will be considered an asset.
