Job Description
Contract Technical Recruiter hiring IT, Technology, and Digital talent for AutoNation, a nationwide automotive retailer. Managing full-cycle recruiting, pipelines, and technical searches.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across multiple teams within IT, Technology, and Digital organizations
- Build and maintain talent pipelines by mapping the market and engaging passive talent before requisitions open
- Manage an average of 15–25 open requisitions at a time, adjusting for role complexity and business priority
- Partner with department leaders, HR Business Partners, and senior stakeholders to understand hiring needs
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using ATS, CRM platforms, job boards, social media, and direct outreach
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience through timely, thoughtful communication
- Maintain accurate documentation in Workday ATS and CRM tools for data integrity and reporting
- Provide flexible recruiting support to other departments and Field Talent Acquisition teams as business needs evolve
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment or agency supporting large enterprise clients
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, with Workday preferred
- Proficiency with sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience with CRM platforms
- Proven success hiring for technical and corporate roles across diverse functions
- Ability to manage high requisition volume while maintaining quality, speed, and stakeholder confidence
- Strong skills in sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation
- Experience engaging executives and senior business leaders in a matrixed organization
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and collaborative spirit to support other business units as priorities shift
