Job Description

Territory Sales Manager expanding NCC Automated Systems’ automation, packaging, and custom manufacturing solutions across the U.S. South and Southeast. Managing complex B2B sales cycles and strategic accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across manufacturing and related industries
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting
  • Develop territory and account growth plans
  • Establish and maintain relationships with decision-makers, engineers, operations leaders, and procurement teams
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the sales process
  • Conduct customer visits, facility tours, and technical discussions
  • Lead opportunities from prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, contract award, and project implementation
  • Present automation, packaging, and manufacturing capabilities
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, and leadership teams on customized solutions
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and business cases
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Maintain forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity tracking, customer records, and sales activity reports in CRM systems
  • Monitor account performance and identify expansion opportunities
  • Represent NCC at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and customer meetings
  • Provide territory performance, pipeline, account, market, and strategic planning updates to leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful B2B sales experience in automation, manufacturing, packaging equipment, material handling, contract manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered solutions
  • Proven success developing new business and growing strategic customer accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and complex customer buying processes
  • Experience selling capital equipment, automation systems, or custom manufacturing solutions preferred
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing and automation processes
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong prospecting and business development capabilities
  • Ability to identify customer needs and develop value-based solutions
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to travel by air and ground transportation as needed
