Job Description

Territory Sales Representative growing Minor Figures’ plant-based coffee products across Portland’s Northwest cafe and foodservice market. Managing accounts, distributors, sales pipelines, and territory growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the face of the Minor Figures brand in the assigned Northwest territory within the On Premise/Cafe channel
  • Meet revenue and strategic business initiatives in the assigned territory
  • Drive and manage sales and distribution throughout the territory
  • Prospect and engage potential new partners through a relationship-led approach
  • Visit existing operators and accounts regularly to retain and grow the business
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with local distributors
  • Identify prospective customers and track opportunities in the CRM pipeline
  • Lead forecasting efforts for existing and new accounts with sales leadership and Sales Operations
  • Onboard, train, and grow sales with new distributors
  • Support marquee or strategic accounts as needed
  • Educate, sample, and support distributor representatives, cafe partners, and operators
  • Map weekly routes to maximize daily field efforts
  • Build an accurate territory pipeline and forecasts using Minor Figures tools
  • Participate in internal team calls and share best practices, competitor feedback, and market insights
  • Collaborate with leadership on development and quarterly goals
  • Represent Minor Figures professionally and authentically
  • Maintain expertise on coffee, hospitality, and foodservice industry trends

Requirements:

  • Relevant sales and business development experience within the cafe channel
  • Deep knowledge of the area/geography in the Northwest
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and deep understanding of early-stage business
  • Strong experience developing, owning, and driving market-level KPIs at various levels of an end client
  • Highly organized in project and time management
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Slack, Google Suite, and CRM
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Able to be in the field 5 days per week
  • Able to travel overnight up to 25% for trade shows, company meetings, or sales-related activity
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from client locations
  • Willing and able to move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must reside in Portland, Oregon
