Job Description

Account Manager developing hospital sales across Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt for Medline, a global healthcare products company. Managing complex sales cycles and strategic customer partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales territory covering Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, including its strategic development
  • Manage clinics and hospitals across Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt
  • Drive sustainable growth in revenue and margin
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting, consulting, and product trials through price negotiations and contract closure
  • Independently manage all sales processes from initial contact through closing
  • Develop new business opportunities and consistently develop the market
  • Analyze market, customer, and competitive opportunities
  • Develop a structured business plan with clear objectives and actions
  • Build and maintain a network within the hospital environment
  • Collaborate with decision-makers, including procurement, nursing management, and end users
  • Implement customer projects, including process optimization and standardization
  • Introduce innovative solutions to improve patient care
  • Build long-term, trust-based customer relationships
  • Maintain forecasts, pipeline, and projects in the CRM system
  • Regularly analyze key performance indicators and sales activities

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, a related field, or equivalent sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in complex, highly competitive sales environments
  • Analytical thinking combined with a structured and strategic approach to work
  • Ambitious goals and strong intrinsic motivation
  • Persuasive communication skills in telephone conversations, face-to-face meetings, and presentations
  • Ideally, experience in medical devices, clinics, or hospitals
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Good command of English
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60–80% of the time
