Job Description

Account Manager developing customer relations and driving sales for Medline in Southern Germany. Building long-lasting relationships with clinics, hospitals and other healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Territory development & sales
  • Management of clinics and hospitals in your region
  • Increase revenue, margin and market penetration
  • Independently manage the entire sales cycle (prospecting, consultation, product trials, negotiations, closing)
  • Strategic market approach
  • Analysis of market, process and decision-making structures
  • Identification of potential and development of business plans
  • Commercial responsibility for your territory
  • Communication and negotiation with purchasing, nursing and medical staff
  • Build long-term, resilient customer relationships
  • Develop compelling solution proposals
  • Initiate and implement projects (e.g., standardization, process optimization, product innovations)
  • Act as interface between customers, management and internal teams
  • Ensure sustainable customer retention through genuine added value
  • Maintain a transparent sales pipeline in the CRM
  • Prepare realistic forecasts
  • Structured planning and management of your sales activities

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration/economics or substantial sales experience
  • Proven track record in a demanding sales environment
  • Strategic thinking and strong execution skills
  • Independent, goal-oriented and highly driven
  • Confident presence and strong communication skills
  • Ideally experience in a hospital or medical device environment
  • Business-fluent German and good command of English
  • Proficient in MS Office
