Job Description

AbbVie Clinical Account Executive advancing Multiple Myeloma medicines across Los Angeles. Building oncology partnerships, executing territory strategy, and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic leader of the assigned Los Angeles Central territory
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs
  • Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders
  • Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise
  • Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences
  • Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution
  • Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions
  • Complete required AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures
  • Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities
  • Advance Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business goals
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in pharma/biotech
  • Oncology/hematology experience required, preferably in Multiple Myeloma
  • Competitive selling skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Persistence and grit with a strong track record in challenging environments
  • Personal auto or company car/truck
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements
  • Ability to regularly travel by air or car
  • Healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, potentially including background checks, drug screens, and immunization/vaccination proof
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies preferred
  • Account Management experience preferred
  • Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • People management or leadership experience preferred
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
