Job Description

National Account Manager focused on driving business growth within National Accounts in Northern U.S. Collaborating with sales teams and managing strategic client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop and maintain relationships with agreed National Accounts
  • Develop strategic (board level to board level) relationships with specified accounts gaining panel positions
  • Work with local Zurich sales office to promote and support the local development of National Accounts
  • Build an effective network of key Zurich staff
  • Negotiate the organization’s cost and attendance at conferences and other meetings
  • Ensure high standard of corporate governance and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure the organization addresses the needs and views of National Accounts at a product and strategic level
  • Communicate effectively with the accounts and their members
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of all complaints and service issues
  • Understand and respond to changing technology/IT requirements of accounts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Sales area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Sales area
  • Experience with account management underwriting loss development and underwriter communication
  • Experience managing buying processes
  • Portfolio management experience
  • Experience with principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology
  • Experience working within a regulatory environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience analyzing financial statements
  • Licensed to sell insurance products
