Job Description
Manager leading employee relations and leave programs for a multi-site veterinary organization. Supporting teams with HR guidance and ensuring fairness across diverse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead employee relations and leave of absence programs for a large, multi-site veterinary organization
- Partner closely with hospital leaders, HR, and legal to navigate workplace concerns
- Support veterinary hospitals with employee relations guidance, investigations, and resolution of workplace concerns
- Oversee leave of absence and accommodation programs (FMLA, ADA, state leaves, etc.)
- Ensure fairness, compliance, and consistency across diverse hospital environments
- Identify trends and proactively improve the employee experience across clinics
Requirements:
- Strong HR background with deep employee relations and leave management experience
- Confidence working in complex, multi-site environments (veterinary strongly preferred)
- Experience handling sensitive workplace issues with fairness and empathy
- Strong knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Ability to partner with leaders who are not HR experts but deeply care about their teams
- A calm, practical approach to problem-solving in fast-moving environments
