Job Description
Außendienstmitarbeiter für AbbVies Eye-Care-Arzneimittelvertrieb im Raum Frankfurt. Betreuung von Ärzten, regionaler Marktanalyse und Umsetzung von Vertriebs- und Accountplänen.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze available data and the regional market, including sales trends for the company’s products and those of competitors
- Identify market potential and critical developments
- Develop, align on, and implement territory sales and account plans within the in-field team
- Manage customers competently and provide proactive consultations to physicians
- Develop, organize, and conduct educational events, and attend regional and national events
- Establish and expand networks among hospitals, office-based physicians, and other stakeholders
- Gather market information and customer insights, and determine customers’ positions in the sales cycle
- Communicate proactively with the Sales Manager
- Provide professional reporting and complete administrative tasks on time
- Collaborate effectively within and beyond the in-field team
- Foster open communication and the continuous exchange of experience and ideas
- Proactively and continuously advocate for customer needs
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree in a natural science, pharmaceutical sales representative training, or the required expertise pursuant to Section 75 of the German Medicinal Products Act (Arzneimittelgesetz)
- Experience working in an in-field team and leading interdisciplinary projects with responsibility in a matrix organization
- Several years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a demonstrable track record of above-average sales performance preferred; experience in the relevant therapeutic area is an advantage
- Ability to present complex scientific concepts in a target-group-oriented manner and discuss them with different customer groups
- Highly persuasive, presentation- and closing-oriented personality with strong communication skills, including the use of the Challenger methodology
- Strong ability to continuously adapt to changing market conditions and innovatively and independently adjust working methods accordingly
- High level of motivation and energy to pursue and achieve targets
- Excellent performance management skills to continuously optimize sales target achievement
- Strong digital competence and proficiency with field sales tools, such as Veeva and Microsoft Office
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong drive to succeed, including a commitment to personal development within the company
- Flexibility, commitment, and team spirit
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Good command of English preferred
