Job Description
Head of Airline Partnerships at Travelfusion executing airline commercial strategy in the APAC region. Driving revenue growth and managing key airline partnerships across the APAC ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the APAC regional airline commercial strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Manage and mentor a small, regional airline partnerships team to deliver against KPIs and strategic goals
- Identify and prioritise strategic airline partners within the APAC region, including LCC, FSC, hybrid carriers, and regional airlines
- Provide regional input to product teams on NDC adoption, API enhancements, and ancillary integration to meet specific APAC airline needs
- Manage the regional partnership revenue and deliver against APAC revenue targets, yield, and market share trends
- Ensure cross-team collaboration with product, engineering, commercial and marketing functions to ensure partner satisfaction and drive incremental sales within the region
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of airline, GDS, OTA, or travel technology experience
- Experience in a regional commercial leadership or senior account management role
- Proven track record in airline commercial negotiations and partnership management within the APAC region
- A motivational leader with a track record of mentoring a small regional team to drive high performance
- Good understanding of airline distribution models, including NDC, API connectivity and ancillary retailing
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the APAC ecosystem with strong regional network within APAC airline commercial, distribution and revenue management teams
- Strategic thinker with good analytical and commercial acumen
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region 20-30% of the time
