Job Description
HR Generalist managing payroll processing and employee benefits while ensuring compliance for Trustwell, a growing tech firm in the food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Own detail-oriented HR operations, including HRIS (Rippling) data integrity, employee files, and routine HR reporting.
- Support candidate filtering and screening for standard, high volume roles, and provide light recruiting support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 to 4 years of HR experience with direct ownership of payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment law, wage and hour rules, and HR compliance practices.
- Hands on experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Rippling preferred), with strong comfort using data and spreadsheets.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, with the ability to meet recurring deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
