Job Description
Junior HR & Talent Coordinator supporting HR and recruitment functions at Iversoft. Opportunity to shape talent strategy and enhance employee experiences in a remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Support employees by answering HR-related questions and providing guidance on HR policies and processes.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and support them through their first months at Iversoft.
- Help managers monitor and address performance-related issues, including managing performance reviews and goal-setting.
- Prepare documentation for terminations and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Stay updated on employment laws and ensure HR practices are compliant with the ESA, OHRC, OHSA, and AODA.
- Maintain the HRIS to ensure all employee records are up-to-date.
- Administer HR surveys, such as employee engagement surveys, and provide a breakdown to the HR team.
- Take ownership of job postings, candidate sourcing, and recruitment pipelines to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and interview processes that align with Iversoft's goals.
- Participate in all stages of the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
- Promote Iversoft's employer brand by attending external events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Develop and maintain recruitment-related documentation, processes, and policies to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Collect, analyze, and report recruitment metrics and candidate feedback to improve hiring practices.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance people operations and recruitment workflows, including candidate sourcing, job description drafting, onboarding, and engagement survey analysis.
- Identify opportunities to build AI-powered internal HR tools and document outcomes and improvements for the broader team.
- Proactively bring forward suggestions, strategies, and ideas to improve current HR processes and programs.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in HR, recruitment, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience with technical recruiting.
- Knowledge of Ontario employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience using an HRIS (Rippling experience is a plus).
- Experience using an ATS (Workable experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing or supporting performance management processes.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
