Job Description
Key Account Manager promoting AstraZeneca respiratory and immunology medicines to Romanian healthcare professionals. Building strategic clinical relationships and supporting patient-centric prescribing.
Responsibilities:
- Generate clinical demand for business unit and therapy-area medicines with healthcare professionals
- Identify opportunities, present value propositions, and recommend patient-centric solutions
- Develop strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, key external experts, and other stakeholders
- Promote knowledge of medicines, approved indications, efficacy and safety profiles, and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing
- Use science-driven messages and face-to-face and digital channels
- Organize workshops and educational events for healthcare professionals
- Work with the Field Force Manager to develop and implement promotional strategies and actions
- Manage the allocated budget in the assigned territory
- Share insights and information internally to strengthen brand positioning, promotional efforts, and treatment access
- Ensure products are used in line with national/local guidelines and product licenses
- Act according to AstraZeneca’s Values and Code of Conduct and comply with regulations and internal policies
Requirements:
- University degree required
- Preference for Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields
- Passion for science and commitment to making a positive personal impact
- Curiosity and learning agility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging mid- and senior-level healthcare professionals
- Collaborative and inclusive approach, with ability to adapt to different people
- Analytical skills to use reasons and metrics to recommend actions and support decision-making
- Resourcefulness and tenacity in developing solutions
- Ability to use common business technology and digital tools
- Fluent in Romanian
- Advanced English
