Job Description

Recruiter hiring technical talent for Internet2, a nonprofit advanced research and education technology community. Owning full-cycle recruiting while supporting HR operations and hiring-manager partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical positions
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to define hiring needs and recruiting strategies
  • Source, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates
  • Explain benefits, compensation, total rewards, and performance management to candidates
  • Ensure positive applicant, candidate, and employee experiences
  • Train Hiring Managers through lunch-and-learns, Zoom meetings, and individual sessions
  • Own the Recruitment Module within the HRIS while ensuring legal compliance and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently
  • Track process efficiency, including time to fill
  • Ensure timely disposition of applicants
  • Support and assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain consistency, attention to detail, and accuracy in administrative tasks
  • Provide timely follow-up and follow-through
  • Provide limited HR generalist support as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on technical, IT, engineering, and professional roles
  • Strong track record filling complex and hard-to-fill technical roles
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other sourcing tools
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt to diverse hiring manager styles and build trusted partnerships
  • Ability to screen candidates, conduct interviews, and recommend best-fit candidates
  • Proficiency with ATS systems; ADP Recruitment module experience is a plus
  • Experience with HR generalist support, including process documentation, training, presentation development and delivery, and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and follow-up abilities
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to deadlines
  • Continuous improvement mindset and passion for learning
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Preferred: Professional HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce, particularly the Recruitment Module
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DocuSign
  • Preferred: Project management skills and/or certification
  • Preferred: Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or member-driven environments
  • Preferred: Advanced sourcing for niche and unicorn positions
  • Preferred: Reporting on HR recruitment metrics and compliance data
  • Preferred: Comfort leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies
