Job Description
Regional Director Logistics overseeing logistics operations for Labcorp across North and South America. Leading teams to manage clinical trial materials and enhance logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading logistics operations and services across North and South America
- Oversees regional logistics teams and drives the development, optimization, and execution of processes supporting shipments of clinical collection supplies
- Manages the performance of transportation partners, monitoring service levels, identifying operational risks and improvement opportunities
- Collaborates closely with customers and executive stakeholders to understand business needs and develop innovative logistics solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree ideally within Economics/Business field (additional 5 years of Logistics and/or Transportation within the CRO industry experience may be substituted for education)
- Five years of proven experience in Logistics and/or Transportation within the CRO industry, or a reputable international transportation company or an international industrial company with track records of managing Logistics team
- Five years prior leadership experience
- Specialization or certification within the supply chain and logistics field
- Five years clinical trial logistic experience
