Job Description
Business Relationship Manager at CSAA IG responsible for aligning technology with business objectives. Overseeing product lifecycle and collaboration between IT and business units for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison between business units and IT, understanding business needs and translating them into actionable technology initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, goals, and challenges to align IT priorities effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, ensuring continuous alignment and satisfaction.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key products and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Lead multi-functional teams to prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value and customer needs.
- Conduct market and user research to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Support portfolio of IT projects and products, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and deliverables meet business priorities.
- Establish processes for collecting, evaluating, and prioritizing business requirements and IT demands.
- Facilitate collaboration between IT teams, product managers, and business collaborators to drive project success.
- Identify and champion opportunities to use emerging technologies and industry trends to address business challenges.
- Create a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe environment, demonstrating authenticity and fostering trust.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 years Product Management
- Commercial and/or Personal Lines insurance experience
- Solid technical background with a deep understanding of product development processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello)
- Proven ability to lead others directly or indirectly, as demonstrated through 5+ years of leading teams, enterprise-wide programs, or large cross-functional programs and at least 2 of those years directly managing others.
