Job Description

Senior Director leading RxBenefits’ PBM initiatives ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborating with leaders to drive successful execution and client value in pharmacy management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead RxBenefits’ internal go to market strategy for PBM initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational priorities, market conditions, and growth objectives.
  • Analyze and align PBM and broader market dynamics with RxBenefits’ value proposition and service offerings to drive differentiation and client value.
  • Ensure the effective deployment, operationalization, and ongoing support of key PBM initiatives across cross functional teams.
  • Manage and oversee successful end to end project execution for strategic PBM programs, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and scalable outcomes.
  • Oversee executive level decision making for PBM programs and initiatives through close collaboration with RxBenefits leadership and PBM executive partners.
  • Ensure organizational readiness to support PBM programs and services by collaborating with PBM partners to review, understand, and vet programs while developing and communicating RxBenefits’ internal position.
  • Demonstrate transformational leadership, motivating and engaging teams while influencing behaviors toward a shared strategic vision.
  • Support additional special projects and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise and understanding of PBM contractual terms and conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external executive leadership.
  • Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and collaborative leadership skills.
  • Strong independent critical thinking skills.
  • Proven team building, relationship management, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, rapidly growing organizational environment.
  • Ability to communicate with PBM vendors in a respectful and meaningful manner to maintain positive relationships.
