Job Description
Senior Vice President, Innovation Banking at Western Alliance Bank, responsible for developing new business and managing banking relationships. Overseeing loan processes and collaborating with treasury partners.
Responsibilities:
- identifying a target market for new business
- developing and establishing a book of new business
- negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating loan closings
- developing business checking and deposit relationships
- assisting clients with deposit related products and services
- compiling and analyzing market research data
- engaging in business development activities
- collaborating closely with treasury partners
- maintaining a customer database
- making reports to superiors
- interviewing prospective applicants
- performing pre-qualification assessment and analysis
- coordinating processing of approved loans
- maintaining knowledge of financial industry status and trends
- representing the Bank in community functions
Requirements:
- 8+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Advanced knowledge of general banking operations
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations
- Advanced knowledge in relationship management
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
- May require up to 50% travel
