Job Description

Territory Manager selling Priority1’s logistics brokerage solutions to Jackson businesses. Prospecting, acquiring, and managing B2B freight accounts through outside sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business through B2B door-to-door cold calling
  • Develop lead generation and utilize CRM to track activity
  • Sell and set up new accounts
  • Manage accounts sold
  • Sell transportation and logistics solutions to small-to-mid-size businesses
  • Acquire new business in the Jackson market
  • Present freight solutions that reduce customers’ operating costs
  • Attend corporate, senior Territory Manager, and management training
  • Participate in the Fast Start Program with three months of in-the-field training alongside Upper Management

Requirements:

  • 2 years of freight sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; business, marketing, and/or communication courses preferred, but any major will work
  • Involvement in campus activities; athletic backgrounds highly recommended
  • Naturally enthusiastic and energetic
  • Polished and professional appearance and demeanor
  • Determined to be part of a winning team
  • A burning desire to be successful
  • Willingness to travel to Little Rock, AR for training
  • Ability to perform extensive B2B door-to-door cold calling
  • Ability to develop leads, use a CRM, sell new accounts, and manage accounts
