Job Description
Territory Sales Manager selling ChowNow’s restaurant technology to independent restaurants in Baltimore. Managing full-cycle sales, local prospecting, referrals, demos, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Sell ChowNow’s restaurant technology to independent restaurants in person
- Own revenue generation and convert qualified leads into opportunities
- Manage the sales pipeline and establish a book of business from partner and inbound leads
- Develop outbound and referral strategies to close new sales opportunities
- Collaborate with peers and manager to apply the Value Selling sales methodology
- Create awareness with prospects and demonstrate thought leadership in restaurant technology
- Help restaurateurs improve their businesses using the ChowNow platform
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, approximately 60% of work time or 3 days per week
- Complete a minimum of 45 restaurant drop-ins per week
- Report to a Sales Leader with no direct reports
- Progress through Ramp Camp onboarding and learn customer needs, product value, and sales best practices
- Run in-product web demos for varied audiences
- Drive full-cycle outside sales from qualification through close
- Nurture leads, manage relationships, and build a referral network
- Use SFDC reports and dashboards to evaluate pipeline and KPIs
- Meet and exceed quota targets
- Shape and scale sales strategy, improve team practices, tools, and content
- Audit the sales pipeline with the manager using coaching and data-driven insights to maximize conversion rates
- Share best practices with peers
Requirements:
- Track record of consistent over-achievement in Outside/Field sales with 3+ years experience
- Genuine curiosity about people, local restaurants, and food trends
- Enjoy building lasting relationships and developing a referral-based book of business
- Market expertise and knowledge of competitors and latest trends
- Coachable and willing to master the sales craft and understand buyer decision-making
- Positive, hardworking mentality and willingness to implement feedback
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales culture and adapt quickly to change
- Fast learner with processes and technology
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
