Job Description
Account Executive driving Splunk SaaS sales for Cisco’s commercial customers. Growing territory revenue, generating pipeline, and meeting quota through consultative enterprise selling.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth and expand a geo-based territory through existing customers and new prospects
- Develop a strategic vision and plan for pipeline generation
- Meet license, support, and service revenue targets
- Collaborate with business partners to develop compelling enterprise solutions and articulate value and ROI
- Engage multiple decision-makers and enhance cross-team alignment and customer success
- Deliver high-velocity transactions and impactful sales outcomes
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Contribute to the organization’s market presence and revenue share
Requirements:
- 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, including experience in a discrete quota-carrying or similar role
- Demonstrated understanding of how Splunk products and services address customer challenges
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
- Expertise in consultative and solution selling methodologies, including MEDDPICC and Value Selling
- Strong skills in territory planning, forecasting, and managing a full sales cycle
- Critical judgment to analyze complex situations, assess risks, and develop creative solutions
- Negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Confidence engaging C-level executives
- Relevant software-industry experience in IT systems, enterprise management, DevOps, security, business applications, or analytics
