Job Description
Account Manager driving customer retention and growth across client base in Texas and Arkansas regions. Working fully remote while collaborating closely with Customer Success teams.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively own renewals for a portfolio of assigned customers, ensuring timely execution and minimal churn.
- Develop customized renewal proposals and pricing options 120+ days in advance of renewal dates.
- Mitigate risks of cancellation by identifying challenges early and developing retention strategies in collaboration with SWMs and Customer Success Managers.
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasting and pipeline visibility through consistent reporting.
- Identify and execute on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts using consultative, value-based selling techniques.
- Partner with leadership to drive revenue expansion goals and contribute to quarterly growth planning.
- Work closely with SWMs, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations to streamline renewal processes and address customer needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all renewal activities, proposals, and customer communications in Salesforce.
- Provide timely and precise weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts to leadership.
- Continuously refine renewal and upsell workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in renewals or account management within SaaS, EdTech, or a related software industry.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding renewal and upsell targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with comfort engaging C-level executives.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with a process-driven mindset.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
