Job Description
Business Development Associate supporting pipeline growth, market research, and partnerships for CHI’s evidence-based healthcare group-care model. Remote role collaborating across growth, marketing, policy, and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support execution of CHI's business development strategy and annual growth objectives
- Assist with prospecting, lead generation, qualification, and pipeline development
- Coordinate and follow up on business development meetings, presentations, proposals, and contract discussions
- Prepare presentations, briefing materials, outreach plans, and meeting summaries for leadership
- Support conference exhibiting, lead capture, and post-event follow-up
- Assist with customer and stakeholder education through webinars, information sessions, and presentations
- Collaborate with Marketing on outreach campaigns, lead nurturing, and market awareness initiatives
- Identify, research, and evaluate prospective FQHC and community health center partners
- Maintain a pipeline of FQHC, health system, payer, and community-based partnership opportunities
- Monitor industry trends, healthcare market developments, and emerging strategic opportunities
- Research federal and state initiatives, funding opportunities, reimbursement models, and policy developments affecting FQHCs and healthcare providers
- Gather information to assess barriers, enabling conditions, and partnership opportunities for Centering implementation and scale
- Prepare market analyses, stakeholder maps, and partnership briefs for leadership review
- Capture and document insights from external meetings and engagements
- Share market intelligence and partnership insights with Business Development, Health Policy, and Marketing teams
- Generate pipeline reports, activity reports, dashboard updates, and business development metrics
- Track projects and reporting using Salesforce, Monday.com, or other organizational tools
- Support maintenance of standard operating procedures for business development processes
- Report directly to the Senior Business Development Manager and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales support, partnership development, account management, healthcare administration, nonprofit development, or a related field
- Experience conducting research, managing data, and supporting client or stakeholder relationships
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to synthesize information and present findings clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Commitment to high ethical standards and professional conduct
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- At least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination required before start date and full vaccination required within 30 days, unless an exemption is approved
- Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), Doula, or other healthcare professional is highly preferred
- Exposure to healthcare organizations, public health, FQHCs, healthcare consulting, or nonprofit organizations is preferred
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce is preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare delivery systems and healthcare industry terminology is preferred
