Job Description
Biosurgery Specialist selling Johnson & Johnson hemostatic products across Jaipur’s healthcare market. Managing surgeons, hospitals, KOLs, territory sales and product education.
Responsibilities:
- Sell the Biosurgery range of hemostatic products within the assigned territory
- Establish the Biosurgery portfolio as the preferred choice of adjunctive hemostats
- Manage existing KOLs and actively include new KOLs
- Achieve or exceed franchise sales targets
- Provide weekly and monthly sales action plans to the manager
- Analyze sales reports, identify opportunities and recommend solutions
- Negotiate and close sales
- Participate in trade displays and conferences
- Manage the territory, identify sales opportunities and maintain territory plans
- Maintain active OR presence in strategically important specialties and procedures
- Drive marketing campaigns with larger sales teams
- Identify tender and contract opportunities
- Work with retailers and ensure brand ambassadorship
- Identify and train surgeons on new technologies through consult-in-surgery, sales calls and training sessions
- Coordinate and deliver customer in-service education sessions
- Develop customer relationships and support healthcare service delivery
- Prepare key account development plans and identify decision makers
- Optimize cross-selling opportunities and provide inventory support
- Build product, anatomy, physiology, medical procedure and competitive product knowledge
- Gather usage data and monitor surgeon adoption
- Manage accounts receivable, operating expenses, samples and expense budgets
- Participate in training, self-development and competency assessments
- Conduct business ethically in accordance with the Credo
Requirements:
- Graduate degree, preferably in Science or Pharmacy
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in healthcare
- Experience managing HCP KOLs
- Experience working with larger teams
- Sales experience in adjunctive hemostats preferred
- Proficiency in the local language and English
- Knowledge of healthcare customers’ needs and competitive developments
- Product knowledge covering features, benefits, application, usage, anatomy, physiology and medical procedures
- Ability to negotiate and close sales
- Ability to analyze sales reports and recommend solutions
- Ability to manage territory plans, tenders, contracts, accounts and expenses
- Ability to train surgeons and deliver customer in-service education
- Ability to conduct business ethically under the company Credo
