Job Description
CVS Health telesales representative acquiring and retaining Medicare members through inbound and outbound calls. Managing member relationships, cross-selling products, and meeting sales and retention goals remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire new members through inbound and outbound calls
- Assess customer needs for products and services using probing questions and listening skills
- Service existing members and handle inquiries about product utilization and benefits
- Cross-sell ancillary and other applicable products to existing members
- Retain existing members
- Maintain knowledge of CMS and state regulations
- Multitask and use a computer while interacting with prospects and members by phone
- Capture relevant information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Meet sales, conversion, and cross-sell goals
- Contact prospective members within performance-plan time limits
- Achieve member-retention targets
- Maintain high member satisfaction
- Develop expert understanding of company products, services, and processes
- Own member relationships throughout the year as the primary contact for inquiries and issue resolution
- Work as part of a high-performing team focused on professional development and career growth
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years’ experience selling multiple Medicare products (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement)
- Must obtain a Life & Health insurance license within 2 attempts and/or 60 days from employment start date
- Active computer use for daily job activities
- Ability to multitask while talking on the phone
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Ability to control emotions when dealing with unhappy customers
- Adaptability to a high-pressure, achievement-oriented environment
- Drive to build, manage, and grow a book of business
- High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations without a calculator
- Ability to pass annual AHIP Continuing Education, Product Certification, Security and Compliance, Client/Carrier Certifications, and required CMS certifications
- 40 hours per week
