Job Description
Recruitment Specialist responsible for identifying and attracting candidates for staffing needs at Ad Astra. Ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform searches for qualified candidates using multiple sources, including databases, networking, online job boards, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, and employee referrals
- Represent Ad Astra at various events and act as the company’s ambassador to prospective clients and candidates
- Respond to client requests or inquiries for recruitment services in a professional and timely manner
- Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, leadership sessions, and company improvement initiatives
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the HR and Recruitment teams
- Complete other assigned tasks and duties related to the recruitment function
Requirements:
- Associate Degree (required)
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment or related experience
- Excellent active listening and attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong coordination and public speaking abilities
- High level of social perceptiveness and empathy
- Skilled in negotiation, judgment, and decision-making
- Ability to handle complex problem-solving situations effectively
- Proficiency in English reading and writing
- Strong understanding of administration and management principles
- Familiarity with standard sourcing techniques and candidate qualification processes
- Awareness of recruitment trends and best practices
- Knowledge of customer and personal service
- Understanding of personnel and human resources management (preferred)
- Experience with high-volume recruitment and long-term project oversight (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing databases (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other productivity tools (preferred)
- Skilled in social media recruiting and outreach (preferred)
