Job Description
Account Executive driving sales and client relationships for GLI, a global gaming testing and certification company. Managing North American gambling-industry accounts, renewals, negotiations, and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver responsive, world-class customer service
- Initiate and maintain regular contact, both remote and in-person, with assigned accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop tailored sales strategies for each client
- Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
- Manage contracts, renewals, and negotiations
- Oversee the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and needs analysis through contract signing and post-service follow-up
- Maintain accurate records in CRM
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Delivery, and cross-functional teams
- Represent GLI at assigned industry events
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements:
- Must reside near a major airport
- Preference for New Jersey (US); listed locations include South Carolina, Connecticut, Georgia, New York, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey
- Minimum of 2 years in business development or sales roles (required)
- Minimum of 1 year in the gaming industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Sales, or related field preferred
- Experience presenting to senior-level clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines while balancing priorities
- High degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties
- Up to 40% travel, sometimes on short notice
- May be required to obtain a gaming license in one or more gaming jurisdictions; continued employment may be contingent on obtaining it if requested
