Job Description
Lead Paid Search professional responsible for complex international accounts in a digital marketing agency. Focusing on strategies involving automation and new search experiences for growth.
Responsibilities:
- You will lead our Paid Search area technically and take responsibility for complex, international client accounts.
- You will develop modern Paid Search and full-funnel strategies — data-driven, cross-channel and focused on sustainable growth.
- You will translate strategic goals into clear priorities for operational implementation and ensure resources are allocated where they have the greatest impact.
- You will build a strong testing and learning culture: with hypotheses, experiments, clear learnings and concrete recommendations for action.
- You will evaluate new platform features, formats, automation and AI opportunities and turn them into scalable standards for the team and clients.
- You will advise clients and internal stakeholders as an equal — acting as a strategic sparring partner for performance, growth and development.
- You will set professional standards for methods, quality, account structures and strategic approaches in Paid Search.
- You will coach and develop colleagues professionally and strengthen the team in day-to-day operations.
- You will bring our Paid Search expertise into pitches, client presentations and internal knowledge-sharing formats effectively.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Paid Search, SEA or search advertising.
- Strategic understanding of performance marketing, business goals, data and digital growth levers.
- Experience with complex account structures, automation, smart bidding, Performance Max and modern search setups.
- Analytical thinking: you recognize patterns, set clear priorities and derive concrete recommendations for action.
- Testing mindset: you develop hypotheses, test in a structured way and systematically improve accounts.
- Confident demeanor in client consulting, sparring and presentations.
- Structured, independent way of working.
- Business-fluent German (C2); English skills are an advantage.
