Job Description
Sales Executive responsible for managing the full sales cycle for Benchmark Gensuite's EHS and Sustainability software solutions. Building executive relationships and driving revenue with enterprise clients in a remote UK-based role.
Responsibilities:
- Own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, contract execution, and deal closure
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target enterprise accounts across multiple industries
- Build and maintain relationships with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders to understand business objectives and position Benchmark Gensuite's solutions effectively
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue opportunities and accelerate pipeline growth
- Conduct discovery conversations and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer business challenges
- Collaborate with Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts while balancing customer needs with company objectives
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer activity within CRM systems
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging customer priorities related to EHS, Sustainability, ESG, and Operational Excellence
- Represent Benchmark Gensuite at customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events as needed
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of successful enterprise SaaS sales experience in a customer-facing commercial role
- Demonstrated success managing complex B2B sales cycles from prospecting through contract signature
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets
- Experience selling software solutions to enterprise organizations and engaging executive-level decision-makers
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience delivering product demonstrations and leading commercial conversations with minimal oversight
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce (or similar) to manage pipeline and forecasting
- Interest or experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Sustainability, ESG, Risk Management, or Operational Excellence solutions is highly desirable
