Job Description

Territory Manager growing Halter’s virtual-fencing business across Riverina beef farms. Managing sales, onboarding, and long-term customer success through frequent field engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and ensure customer success within the designated Riverina territory
  • Execute sales strategies, build customer relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets
  • Act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative
  • Source new leads and opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound queries
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through close
  • Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts
  • Maintain customer relationships after the sale and address product challenges
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and Halter deployment
  • Own the customer experience during onboarding and implementation
  • Manage the territory and develop relationships with regional agricultural groups across the beef industry
  • Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
  • Collaborate with Support to resolve customer issues and escalate problems as needed

Requirements:

  • Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
  • Experience building post-sales value and upselling to grow partnerships
  • Beef industry experience, or deep passion for beef operations and willingness to learn farm operations rapidly
  • Ability to manage a large territory with balanced focus on sales and customer success
  • Critical thinking and ability to make appropriate trade-offs
  • Resourceful and quick-thinking problem-solving ability
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the territory
  • Proactive, hands-on approach
  • Authentic energy and passion for customer interactions
