Job Description

Territory Manager expanding Halter’s virtual-fencing technology among beef farmers in New South Wales. Managing sales, onboarding, customer success, and field feedback across the North West Slopes.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and ensure customer success within the designated territory
  • Execute sales strategies and act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative
  • Build strong customer relationships and meet ambitious growth targets
  • Source new leads through outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound queries
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through contract close
  • Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts
  • Maintain customer relationships after the sale and provide support
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and product deployment
  • Own the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding
  • Manage the territory and build relationships with regional agricultural groups across the beef industry
  • Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
  • Partner with Support to resolve customer issues and escalate problems as needed

Requirements:

  • Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
  • Experience building post-sales value and upselling to grow partnerships
  • Beef industry experience, or deep passion and willingness to rapidly learn farm operations
  • Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking and balancing sales with customer success
  • Resourceful, quick-thinking problem-solving ability
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, Support, R&D, and regional sales teams
  • Frequent travel within the territory
  • Proactive, hands-on approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of results
  • Authentic energy and passion in customer interactions
