Job Description

VP of Demand Generation responsible for architecting global demand strategies at EDB. Leading digital marketing efforts to drive pipeline growth and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive digital demand generation strategy aligned to revenue targets and go-to-market priorities.
  • Own pipeline generation across inbound and outbound digital channels, ensuring measurable contribution to bookings.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and RevOps to align demand programs with ICPs, buyer journeys, and regional priorities.
  • Lead development of high-performing digital landing strategies, including personalization, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Optimize the full digital funnel (traffic → engagement → conversion → pipeline).
  • Oversee website strategy as a primary demand engine, ensuring alignment with SEO, paid media, and campaign objectives.
  • Own global SEO and SEM strategy, including technical SEO, content optimization, and paid search execution.
  • Scale multi-channel acquisition programs (search, display, social, retargeting) with a strong ROI orientation.
  • Continuously refine keyword strategy and intent-based targeting to capture in-market demand.
  • Integrate AI and machine learning into demand generation workflows.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging AI-driven marketing technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Establish experimentation frameworks leveraging AI for rapid testing and iteration.
  • Oversee global Marketing Operations, including campaign execution, lead lifecycle management, and data governance.
  • Own and optimize the marketing tech stack, including Marketo (or equivalent MAP), Salesforce CRM, and analytics platforms.
  • Lead strategy and optimization for the digital commerce engine, including self-service purchase flows and conversion optimization.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global team across Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Operations.

Requirements:

  • 12–15+ years in B2B marketing with significant leadership experience in digital demand generation
  • Proven success in enterprise or high-growth software/SaaS environments
  • Demonstrated ownership of pipeline and revenue targets at scale
  • Deep expertise in landing page strategy and CRO
  • Expertise in SEO/SEM and paid acquisition
  • Strong understanding of modern buyer journeys, intent data, and account-based strategies
  • Experience managing or scaling digital commerce / e-commerce motions in a B2B context
  • Practical experience applying AI in marketing workflows
  • Strong analytical mindset with fluency in attribution models, funnel metrics, and performance optimization
  • Experience managing distributed, global teams across regions and functions
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence Sales, Product, and Executive stakeholders
